Nico will join the Rhys Chatham’s electric guitar ensemble on November 27 2021 for the Parisian BBmix festival at Carré Belle-feuille. The guitar orchestra will consist of:

THE RHYS CHATHAM GUITAR ENSEMBLE:
The Rhys Chatham’s Electric Guitar Orchestra uses six guitars (including Chatham), bass and drums. The piece in its full form consists of two 20-minute sections; the second part is accompanied by a minimalist film made in the late 1970s by the visual artist Robert Longo (former member of the Guitar Trio group) entitled Pictures for Musique (1979).
Over the years, many guitarists have performed in the Rhys Guitar Orchestra, including members of Sonic Youth, Tortoise, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Hüsker Dü, Lichens but also Glenn Branca, Tony Conrad, Jean-François Pauvros, Elliott Sharp or even… Keanu Reeves.
