Born from over three decades of individual experimental practice in Icelandic poetry, spoken word, and atmospheric ritualistic music, the trio Ómun brings together Ásdís Sif (@asdissifstudio words/vocals), Nico Guerrero (@nic0guerrer0 guitar/electronics), and Tristan Zand (@zdrilx bowed bass) for a unique sonic pilgrimage.
Revisiting pagan legends and animistic rituals, the group explores Icelandic narratives through improvised words and music that drift between English and Icelandic.
Within the quiet landscape of delicate acoustic textures, words appear, dissolve, and return, guiding listeners toward a narrative dimension where sound and story move as one.
